The clubhouse, a circa 9,000sqm building spread across 5 floors, is located on a steeply sloped hillside adjacent to the main entrance of a new residential development. The clubhouse will act as a main gateway into the new development and was designed as a dynamic pairing with a future office tower adjacent to the site.
Designed as a space to host community events and social gatherings, the clubhouse is organised around a multi-storey grand atrium that opens up towards the residential scheme. This large, light filled atrium links all main functions together and serves as a reception and exhibition hall. The lower levels provide leisure and wellness amenities including an indoor pool, gym, and children’s play areas. All spaces have direct connection to external terraces to provide views and access to the surrounding landscape.
Underneath the main sculptural metal and glass volume, a series of solid aluminum terraces step down the hillside to create a strong base for the main volume. These terraces are designed to ground the building and create a strong relationship to the natural landscape. The terraces also allow the interior spaces within to open up towards the amazing views of the surrounding river valley.
Project proposes three interconnected buildings linked by a sunken street, combining office, retail, and cultural functions. Positioned between a Chinese history museum and a shopping mall, the development stretches alongside the preserved runway, which remains in its original form as a historic landmark.
The concept is guided by a dual narrative: honoring Nanjing’s past while projecting its future. Beyond its role as a major commercial destination, the project is designed to resonate with the cultural depth of its surroundings, creating a cosmopolitan landmark for the city.
Seamless connectivity forms another cornerstone of the design. Two underground railway stations are integrated into the site, with a central corridor located directly above one of the tracks, serving as a distinctive passageway that links all three buildings.
Once the capital across six dynasties, Nanjing’s historical legacy and forward-looking ambitions are embodied in this project. The preserved runway will be activated year-round through cultural events, transforming into an engaging public realm, with China Fortune’s redevelopment providing its defining backdrop.

Project is conceived as a manmade archipelago set within the Gulf of Arabia approximately 1km to 4.5km offshore from the Gulf of Arabia coast. The island cluster creates a 900,000 sqm marina with capacity for 1,200 berths. This would provide a world class maritime destination for hosting international regattas and events in the Middle East.
The site of 550 hectares stretches 3 km along the seafront with natural beaches and cliffs forming a unique topography.
Main vision for this project is to create a world class residential and tourism community that is environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable. The ultimate goal is to design a vibrant urban environment with a network of public areas, celebrating the Egyptian culture together with the Mediterranean context.
The Master Plan contains 10,000 to 12,000 residential units, supported by a comprehensive and diverse range of community facilities including schools and colleges, a sports academy, swimming pools, and a health and wellness centre.
